I was excited to see these at our local Target and I intended to buy them for our living room floor, as we have a wood floor and my son is at the rolling over (soon crawling stage). However, there was a box open, so I decided to check the tiles out up close and I was very disappointed with how thin they are and not at all fond of their texture -- they aren't very soft. We ended up buying a 5x8 rug (for less money) that is thicker and made in the USA a few aisles over.
